Acupuncture

An acupuncture appointment includes the full compliment of Chinese medicine and can treat any condition treatable with Chinese medicine. In an hour-long session your practitioner combines acupuncture with other techniques including moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, tuina, craniosacral, nutritional and lifestyle recommendations to best meet your needs.


Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a hands-on, relaxing and therapeutic modality. The focus of a treatment is to release muscle tension. Treatments can be full-body or focusing on one or two problem areas. Massage is usually done with the client unclothed and securely draped with a sheet.


Reflexology

Reflexology addresses the entire body by working exclusively on the feet. By breaking up restrictions in the feet, the corresponding part of the body receives improved blood flow and comfort.


Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy uses a variety of techniques to access the subconscious. Hypnotherapy uses a variety of techniques to access the subconscious. A typical session includes discussing with your therapist what you would like to address such as stopping destructive habits, improving athletic performance, decreasing pain, meeting goals, etc. Then, with the help of the therapist you enter into a light trance state during which the therapist guides you with words and imagery to make changes at the subconscious level.


Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a hands-on modality involving light touch, often on the head but can be anywhere on the body. The aim is to optimize the subtle fluid movements of the bones and soft tissues of the body. Receiving craniosacral therapy is deeply relaxing. It can be a stand-alone treatment or craniosacral can be incorporated into massage or acupuncture.


Ear acupuncture

The ear acupuncture offered at Flow is a protocol of 5 points on the ear. This is done by our Acudetox Specialists and our Acupuncturists. Tui Na

Tui Na is the hands-on modality of Chinese medicine. The treatment is done on a massage table. The client usually remains clothed unless cupping or moxa are to be incorporated. In these cases some clothing may need to be removed to provide the practitioner direct access to the client's skin. Tui Na can be full-body with a focus on relaxation, or can focused on one or two areas of concern.

Arrive for your sauna session with swimwear or workout clothes that you feel comfortable sweating in. We'll have it hot and ready to go at your session start time.
Your sauna time is for you. You can use it for some meditative "me time" or you can bring a friend or two to share your time with you. Sweat, relax, chat, catch up with friends. That's what summer is about.

Hannah graduated from the Arizona School with a degree in illustration and design. She subsequently attended the Arizona school of integrative studies for training in massage therapy. She specializes in working with connective tissue through myofascial techniques and craniosacral therapy. Hannah was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. During her formative years parents owned and operated the Providence Institute, school of massage and other healing modalities. Practicing massage has felt second nature to her having grown up steeped in the hands-on healing culture in Tucson.

Her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine is from the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Her undergrad is in biology from Cornell College.
